Cultural Center

The Irish American Association of Northwest Jersey was founded in 1974 to promote and preserve Irish Culture and to create an awareness of the contribution the Irish made to building this great country.

The Irish American Association of Northwest Jersey (IAANJ) is located on Richard Mine Road in Rockaway Township. It is the center of Irish arts and entertainment in Northwest Jersey. In addition to hosting a variety of cultural events throughout the year, classes in Irish step dancing, Adult Ceili dancing, Irish language and Irish Music are held weekly.

Irish Heritage Essay Contest

The Irish American Association of Northwest Jersey is happy to announce that it is holding an Irish Heritage Essay Contest open to Morris County middle grades students. The IAANJ would like to extend an invitation to all Morris County middle school students enrolled in grades 5 thru 8, to participate in the essay contest.
